Jobs 4 Mums
Jobs 4 Mums Awards

Do you know a boss who wants to give jobs to mums? Tell us about them. They could get nationwide acclaim.
It's a simple idea whose time has come. Many thousands of mothers want to get back to work but can't find the right job. So now we wish to recognise the bosses who are ready to help them. That's why we've introduced our Jobs 4 Mums National Awards.
Since its launch, our campaign has triggered a great response. Four out of five new mothers would like to return to work but don't think they'll ever find suitable working hours.
We're not willing to accept that. We are determined to change things and - to prove our point - we have mounted a nationwide competition.
The Jobs 4 Mums campaign wants to find the boss who is most committed to giving jobs to mothers.
The winner might be your supervisor or team leader or just someone you know. She or he could be your line manager or regional boss. Or they might be a tycoon or captain of industry. It makes no difference to us. Everyone will be judged equally.
We have joined forces with recruitment agency jobs4mothers.com. Using their expertise we want to help mothers find work.
The entries will be judged by Harriet Harman, Minister for Women; Kristina Abdat and Selina Smith, co-directors of jobs4mothers.com; and Sophie Hearsey, deputy editor of Take a Break.
