I’m 26 and have a son who is seven and a daughter who is seven months. Until two years ago I was a single parent so I know how hard it can be to bring up a child on your own. After the birth of my son I suffered with PND. I found it hard to adjust and began to feel very lonely and isolated. I felt I had no one to turn to. Even though I’ve not had PND with my daughter, I do feel as though I have lost a social life since starting my maternity leave. I would like to be in touch with others in the same situation and offer advice, swap ideas and chat.
