I have one son and a daughter. He was born three days late in a difficult labour. He suffered from Colic when he was a baby. I suffered from severe PND that went undiagnosed for a long time. My friends didn't understand what I was going through because they didn't have children. I have since come to realise that PND was not my fault. I beat myself up everyday about how I felt. I became ashamed of myself and virtually locked myself in the house. I finally got help from my GP and my life is getting back on track. I can finally hold my head up and say 'I had PND, it wasn't my fault'. I have two wonderful kids. I want other mothers to know that it's not their fault. Simple things like going for a coffee and listening can do wonders.

I've been living in Spain for five years now and have some fantastic friends but most haven't got children, so I can't ask them for advice on my seven month old and 27 month old girls. I lost my mom four years ago, so I don't have her for emotional support either and I would love to talk to someone in a similar situation, to know I'm not the only one.
